SECOND VIOLIN

Performances:

Born in Telavi, Georgia, Ana Rapsch got her first violin lessons at the age of five. From 1990 until 1996 she attended the municipal music school of Telavi. Afterwards she studied until 1999 at the music college for highly talented children in Tbilisi with Prof. Ketevan Tushmanishvili.

At a young age she successfully took part in contests and got a scholarship from the president at that time Eduard Shevardnadze. 1999-2001 she received another scholarship for the education at „The Kayaleh Violin Academy“ with Prof. Habib Kayaleh in Geneva (Switzerland). Since 2002 she continued her study at the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater” Munich, which she graduated with an artistic diploma. She participated in several master classes such as with Prof. Ivry Gitlis, Prof. Zakhar Bron, Prof. Anna Chumachenko and Liana Isakadze. From 2010-2014 she worked at the Orchestra at the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. Regularly she has solo and chamber music performances in Switzerland, Norway, Hungary, Uzbekistan and Georgia. Since 2015 she is a member of the Georgian Chamber Orchestra Ingolstadt.
